New Beginnings

The weekend cost $135 per person during the early registration ending on August 31st, and $145 per person for registration before September 15th. Food, T-shirts and lodging are covered by the registration fee. Participants will need to bring bedding, including pillows, along with personal items like towels, toiletries, etc. Don't forget to pack three days of clothes, closed toe shoes, and a swimsuit/towel! Each church may consider adding to the cost to cover any of their own transportation or other needs.

About New Beginnings

New Beginnings is a ministry created in the Diocese of Central Florida with a longstanding tradition of partnering with students to help them grow in their love of themselves, others, and God. This unique weekend retreat is especially designed to respond to the issues, concerns, and needs of Middle School students.  The weekend provides an opportunity for students to intentionally pause from their daily lives to connect, dig deeper in their faith, and seek the next steps in their walk with Christ.

The weekend is led by high school and college students, along with adults. Essential to this ministry is the youth leadership that models Christian community with love and acceptance of every member. This is a great opportunity for older students to gain practical experience serving, mentoring, and deepening their own faith through leadership.  If you are interested in joining the leadership team, please contact Rev.
